Event: A Day at the Beach
15 July 2014On Tuesday the beach came to Blakesley Hall!
The sun was shining, the ice-cream was flowing and lots of fun was had by all. All of the children in Year 1 and Year 2 had the opportunity to build sandcastles and play in the sand. We also had four paddling pools to play in. The children had an amazing time soaking each other, and the teachers!
There was beach volley ball, skipping and frisbee throwing. After all that we cooled down with tip-tops and ice-cream.
It was a fantastic experience and we are sure it may well become a regular event in Phase 1.
